Born in Puebla City, México, Joel Luna, has been interested in art since childhood. He is an accomplished artist who enjoys working with oils, using three-dimensional construction, and a wide variety of materials to bring different textures into his work. Joel also enjoys doing printmaking and ceramics.
Joel begun studying the fine arts in 1993 at ELAC in Monterey Park, CA. He has also studied printmaking at the Self Help Graphics Studio in East Los Angeles.
Joel demonstrates his passion for life through artwork, which he uses as a vehicle to expresses his deep emotions and feelings.
A wide range of galleries in Southern California have exhibited Joel’s art, including: Vincent Price, Cal State Los Angeles, Cal State Long Beach, UCLA, Summer Studios, Skirball Center, and Art Life Gallery. His art is acclaimed around the world and has been exhibited in the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Morocco and Israel.
